Aurora: Story of your first kiss

Lokki: Um… I’m guessing you mean romantic kiss so here goes…

Her name was Siv. She was human and worked in my Boss’s court. This is like two thousand years ago or so by the way. And she didn’t know I was a country or anything.

One day she walked in while I was doing a spell, but she didn’t freak out or anything. She actually asked me to teach her how to do it… And it was great for a while! She was great too, really really really great, and… Before I knew it I was in love.

But we got caught. My Boss found out we were practicing magic and had us arrested. I wanted to stop them. I-I would have killed them all but-but she took my hand and told me it was alright. I told her I loved her and she kissed me… Then they took her away.

I never saw her again.

Christian was almost never around when Egil was a kid. But on the very rare days when he did finish all of his work, Lokki would make a picnic and the three of them would go out on Christian’s ship and spend the day together.

Egil spent a lot of time alone as a kid, so he ended up with half a million dumb ways to spend time, such as exploring the cliffs by his village.

One day he slipped on some ice and fell off one of the cliffs, he broke his leg and got a concussion. Lokki came as soon as he heard and refused to leave Egil’s side for the next few months. (He kinda blamed himself for leaving Egil alone)

When Lokki was little, his mamma taught him magic, and a fire-starting spell was the first one she taught him. That’s one of the reasons he’s obsessed with fire now: starting fires makes him feel close to her now, especially since she disappeared

Egil: When I was really little, I used to have trouble getting to sleep, so Lokki would stay up and tell me stories all night until I fell asleep! Sometimes, he’d even take me up on the roof and teach me the constellations
